Abundant Life
John 10:10 (NRSV)`
“I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
Following Jesus is not only about what we believe—it is about how we live. Christ calls his followers to serve others with humility, compassion, and love. When we serve, we reflect the heart of Jesus, who said that he came “not to be served but to serve” (Mark 10:45).
Throughout history, many faithful Christians have shown what it means to serve Christ through their lives. One powerful example is Mother Teresa, who devoted her life to caring for the poorest and most vulnerable people in the streets of Calcutta. She once said, “Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love.” Her words remind us that serving Jesus does not always require extraordinary acts. Often it is the simple acts of kindness, compassion, and generosity that reveal God’s love most clearly.
When we offer our time, our gifts, and our compassion to others, we become instruments of God’s grace. A kind word, a helping hand, a prayer for someone in need—these small acts of service reflect the presence of Christ in the world.
Serving Jesus begins with a willing heart. Each day God gives us opportunities to show love, extend mercy, and make a difference in someone’s life. As followers of Christ, we are called to serve faithfully, trusting that even the smallest act done in love can have an eternal impact.
Believe in Jesus
At the heart of the Christian faith is Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God who came into the world to reveal God’s love for humanity. Through his life and teachings, he showed us how to live in faith, humility, and compassion.
Through his death and resurrection, Jesus offers forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and the promise of new life. As followers of Christ, we seek to grow in faith, serve others, and share the hope found in him.
God Loves Us
God’s love is constant and unconditional. Through Jesus Christ, God shows us compassion, forgiveness, and the promise of new life. His love welcomes all people and calls us to share that same love with others.
Why We Pray
Prayer is an essential part of the Christian life. It is how we communicate with God—sharing our joys, concerns, gratitude, and hopes. Through prayer we seek God’s wisdom, find comfort in difficult times, and offer thanks for the many blessings in our lives. Prayer draws us closer to God and helps shape our hearts to reflect Christ’s love in the world.
Helping Others
Through local ministries, outreach programs, and global missions, we seek to serve people both near and far. By working together, we strive to share hope, offer practical help, and reflect Christ’s love in the world.
Why Choose our Church
Our church is a place where everyone is welcome and where faith, friendship, and service come together. We gather to worship God, grow in our understanding of Scripture, support one another in prayer, and serve our community with compassion. Whether you are new to church, returning to faith, or looking for a spiritual home, you will find a caring community here where you can grow in your relationship with God and with others.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I come to You with an open heart. I believe that You are the Son of God and that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again so that I might have new life.
I confess that I have sinned and need Your forgiveness. Please forgive me, cleanse my heart, and make me new.
Today I invite You to come into my life. Be my Savior and my Lord.
Guide me, teach me, and help me follow You all the days of my life.
Thank You for Your love, Your grace, and the gift of eternal life.
Amen.
