10:00am Sunday Worship in our Sanctuary

This is a blended service with worship songs and traditional hymns.  Our services include uplifting music, prayer, Scripture readings, and a message that helps us apply God’s Word to everyday life.

Even if you’ve never been before, you won’t feel lost. The focus of our worship is growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ and encouraging one another along the journey of faith.

You should come to worship as yourself and however you feel most comfortable.

There is a wonderful praise song by Brian Doerksen entitled, “Come, Now is the Time to Worship.” One of the verses says, “Come, just as you are before your God, come.” The important thing to Mount Olivet UMC is that we are here to worship God; it doesn’t matter where you come from, what you look like; or what you wear.

There are plenty of ways for you to get connected; it all depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a church, we believe that there’s a place for you here at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.

Yes. We welcome children in worship and offer Sunday School and other programs where young people can learn about God’s love in a safe and caring environment.

Although we do not require anyone who worships with us regularly to officially join the church, many who begin worshiping with us feel God’s call to them to take this step up in faith by becoming members. We continue to celebrate the reality that we are a growing church with many people who begin worshipping with us later taking a step into membership.

Visitors may park in the church parking area and enter through the side or front doors.

The Pastor and Worship Leader (Liturgist) will provide instructions.  We have a bulletin which provides the  Worship Service schedule.  The church bulletin also includes information about weekly and coming events.

An offering is part of our worship, but visitors are never expected to give. Your presence with us is the greatest gift.
