“The Mission of Our Church”
(Matthew 28:19–20)
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.”
Our Mission Extends Beyond our Walls
Faithful Service
The mission of our church is simple and profound: to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. This mission reminds us that the Church does not exist merely for itself. It exists to share the love of Christ, nurture faith, and serve others so that God’s grace may bring renewal to individuals, communities, and the world.
practicing love, showing mercy, and walking humbly with God. Each act of kindness, each prayer offered, and each word of encouragement becomes a small but powerful way that Christ’s light shines through us.
We live out this mission in many ways:
- through worship that strengthens our faith,
- through study that deepens our understanding of Scripture,
- through fellowship that builds community, and
- through service that reaches those in need.
No single congregation can transform the world alone. But together—guided by the Holy Spirit and united in Christ—we become part of God’s work of healing, justice, and hope.
Prayer
Lord of the Church, help us live out the mission you have given us. Shape us into faithful disciples who reflect your love. Use our church, our gifts, and our lives to bring hope and transformation to the world.
Amen.
